My collections of fruits, plants, bones, vegetables, sea creatures, images of places, object and textures become a source of inspiration for my work in the studio. My building process inspired by the hybrid of plant structure and marine creatures creates imagined objects and spaces. The series of ceramic work I have developed focused on form, structure, texture and colour. By observing plant life closely, I have noticed that forms in nature repeat their structure within themselves and with the environment to create patterns.
