掐指，第二十四个年头，我和陶的缘分，愈磨愈深，而可抒发的感言却愈来愈少，难道是一种信息摄入官能蜕化的状态？但我，却非常麻木地享受和珍惜这份得来不易的“封闭”。陶艺世界之奥妙，文字的注释，总显得太苍白。只有当你融入，你方可发现它的无限。陶本身，就是造化的精华，我的工作，就是把在陶艺世界的那份不可名状的愉悦，用自己的泥块，表白给大家。无论是泥釉的玩味，还是彩绘的撇撒。陶中的游走，感受神魂荡涤，乐趣无穷。

When making choices, a person may easily become lost. As a ceramic teacher, I often think about what I can do as an artist to make teaching more meaningful. Hand throw pots and over glaze painting methods are the most popular traditional ceramic making methods in China. Despite the fact that many people have abandoned tradition, I chose it as one of the most important elements in my work. People are attracted by my work and I am able to make them appreciate the process of making. That is the choice I made to make clay grow into something meaningful in my life.
