My current series of work inspired by the 18th century European Snowball Blossoms Teapot. The Teapot is decorated by hundreds of hand painted three dimensional flowers. I was most impressed by the beauty and the amount of patience, concentration and skill that must have been required and it inspired me to create work with a similar resonance.
